METROVACESA.

Basic and Detailed Engineering Design and Interior Design. In collaboration with AYA Aguirre and Associates.

The promoter requested the building of a Museum for the Rock Culture, the first in Europe with these characteristics, situated on the 4^th floor of one of the most emblematic buildings of the Urban Sprawl of Barcelona, the former Bullring of Las Arenas, converted into an innovative 5-storey Mall.

A complex project extended on a surface of 2.000 m², made of 5 thematic rooms for permanent and temporary exhibitions, a large concert hall, recording studio, bar, shop and thematic restaurant.  

The main challenge was to make feasible a private cultural initiative, in addition to the ludic offer of the new Las Arenas Mall, the property of Metrovacesa, trying to make it economically sustainable as an attractive and innovative exhibition experience.
