CARAMELO, S.A.

Elaboration of the Design Project and Technical Assistance. 

At number 19 on the Serrano Street, in full centre of Madrid, it is situated the fashion store belonging to the company Caramelo, S.A.

According to its expansion policy, the company Caramelo decided to extend the store, generating a commercial space of 1.400 m². For this extension, there were undertaken complete alterations to the existing structure of 3 storeys out of 7, all occupied in the end by Caramelo. Given the age of the building, part of the existing structure was made of steel and part of wood. As part of the alterations, the wood structure was replaced by steel structure and the existing steel structure was consolidated in order to adapt it to the new distribution that was applied to the entire building.

The store was given an avant-garde aspect, using for this purpose a mixture of classical and modern materials, and it was also fitted out with the necessary installations so as to generate a comfortable climate for the clients and to observe the strict regulations of the Community of Madrid.
