Site Management and Technical Assistance.

FERROATLÁNTICA, a renowned company of the Costa da Morte zone and a market leader of this area for more than 25 years, entrusted COTECNO with the Site Management and the Technical Assistance for the extension works of its complex of Dumbria, consisting of the implementation of a filter designed for recovering the micro-silica of the smoke produced by the blast furnaces used for steel melting.

The installation is made of the following elements:

• Gas coolers (300 m²)
• High-efficiency cyclonic separators (made of 4 groups)
• Micro-silica recovery installations (990 m²)
• Densification silos (7 m diameter and 18 m length)
• Packing systems (500 m²)

• Micro-silica storage facilities (570 m²)
• Auxiliary services (200 m²)
