THE PUBLIC PORT AGENCY OF ANDALUSIA

Design Engineering.

At the request of the Public Port Agency of Andalusia, the area of the San Felipe Point was reorganized, creating new docks inside the existing port, which increased the number of mooring places.

The intervention consisted in the extension of the existing water surface, which implied the dredging of 15.700 m² of land, creating 3 new pier lines with 128 mooring places for 10 to 12-m-long vessels.

The piers were to be provided with services of electricity, lighting, buoying and potable water; their distribution was made by means of the existing technical galleries. Likewise, the electricity and water intakes were placed in the same service cabinets.

The resulted land surface was to be arranged by adopting and integrate solution, which would encompass the entire field of activity.
