XESTUR CORUÑA.

Site Management and Environmental Survey.

In December 2.009, COTECNO was awarded the contract tendered by XESTUR for the Site Management and the Environmental Survey for the development works of the Business Park of A Sionlla (Santiago de Compostela).

The tasks consisted in making sure that the works included in the projects were correctly executed, in solving all the technical incidents that might occur and in checking that all the conditions established by the Environmental Impact Assessment of the project were being observed.

The surface of the Park is of 1.380.000 m², out of which 730.000 m² were to be used for business, thus: 411.821 m² to be used by companies with industrial activity, 111.066 m² for other uses and 207.064 m² for mixed use, both industrial and other.

The park was also to be provided in the future with a railway transport terminal of 74.000 m², which would convert it into a logistics platform. The companies would thus have railway and road access, N-550 and AP-9, besides enjoying the vicinity of the Lavacolla Airport.

The works within the scope of the Site Management and Environmental Survey contract were included in the projects for urban planning, electricity network, exterior connection to the water supply network, exterior connection to the sewerage network, exterior street connection to the Rúa do Amio and exterior road connection. A new orbital Ring Road.
