Elaboration of the Engineering Design and Site Management.

With the intention of including it in the SOP for the year 2.012, in November 2.011 the Local Council of Arteixo contracted the services of COTECNO for the elaboration of the Engineering Design for the Sewer System of Armentón.

The works consisted of providing municipal wastewater sewage network to the population centres of Grela and Corredoira, both with an accentuated relief that prevented the connection to the existing gravity sewer system.

To reduce the maintenance costs, it was chosen a solution that minimized the number of necessary pump stations. Thus, the wastewaters from Corredoira are collected by gravity system and they are taken to Grela using a local road. Once there, the sewer systems of both population centres are brought together in a pumping well and from there they are directed by an impulsion system to the main sewer system.

Once the permit obtaining procedures with the Provincial Council of A Coruña had been completed, on the 12^th of September 2.012 it was signed the variation order for the works that were officially delivered on the 17^th of January 2013.
