The “trigeneration” energy plant allows the simultaneous production of electricity, steam and cold.
Three generators directly connected to the same number of alternative natural gas internal combustion produce electric energy of 3.100 Kwh per hour. This allows the auto-supply of the slaughterhouse that belongs to the same company and the export of the energy excess to the Distribution Company.
Likewise, by passing the gas leaks of the engines through recovery boilers, there is generated steam of 10 bars, which is a sufficient quantity to supply the production process necessities.
The same way, it is also used the hot water resulting from the refrigeration of jackets and oils to generate cold water for the acclimatization of the quartering and processing rooms.
