The project promoter was S.A. DE XESTIÓN DO PLAN XACOBEO 93, the investment value amounting to 3.000 million pesetas; The Pilgrim Accommodation Centre on Monte do Gozo has a hosting capacity of around 4.000 pilgrims (excluding the camping places).

Situated at only 4 km away from Santiago, this complex covers 600.000 m², which are stretching on a large green area of 4.000 trees, 8.000 bushes, 4.000 plants, 90.000 m² of lawn and 320.000 m² of natural grassland.

At the highest level there is a viewpoint which dominates the city of Santiago and its surroundings, also including a one-hectare artificial lake and a 30.000-people capacity auditorium.

The complex includes 25 accommodation pavilions offering a total of more than 400 rooms and a 500-tent capacity camping. This is a shelter which has the capacity to accommodate several hundred personas. It is fitted out with various facilities that should make the pilgrim stay as pleasant as possible, from cinema to bars, newsstands, laundry, first aid centre, self-service restaurant, commercial premises with 28 stores, supermarket, shower and toilet area, sports facilities with swimming pools, handball, basketball and volleyball courts and indoor football.

During the entire engineering design and the execution works, there were undertaken permanent quality checks and controls according to COTECNO procedures, which are certified by AENOR.
